Feature Friday

I decided to begin a new column I call Feature Fridays.

On Fridays I will feature a fellow Etsy artisan that I have come across that I believe deserves to have their work showcased. Not that I hold any clout...but I know good "stuff" when I see it! If you would like to be considered for this feature...please leave me a comment or email me directly at info@StudioJewel.com. I'd love to see your goods! :)

For our very first Friday I would like to introduce you to Jen at Deckled Edge Bindery.

Jen creates GORGEOUS handbound books, one of which I am a very proud owner. She is one of those creative people who just can't help herself...she must create! Initially she fell in love with handmade papers and then decided to try her hand a book binding. It was as instant love affair!

Inspired by things she sees and by her children who, without knowing it, "bring me wonderful new ideas", says Jen.

Jen is a wife and stay at home mom to two girls who are now her "parnters in crime" as she calls them! She loves being home and working with them by her side.

Etsy has been a great fit for Jen, and she has never looked back since listing her very first item. She admits that at times it can be challenging, and maybe a bit overwhelming...but she wouldn't trade a thing.

Please visit Jen's shop DeckledEdgeBindery and take a look at some of her unbelievable creations...you'll be glad you did!
