SNOW....

I wrote this over a year ago...
I thought in the midst of the snow it would be appropriate to post it again....

Snow…when God gently kisses the earth
And exhales His breath of holiness

It reminds us of his perfect world
Before sin
Before evil

This is his gift to us
Magically falling from the hem of his robe

He smiles watching his gift descend
He loves the image of perfection
Grace blanketing the earth
With her cool veil of forgiveness

Just as God kisses the world with snow
And covers her with a blanket of wholeness
This is how he views my iniquitous heart

But then….the snow washes away like all snow does
Revealing a once again filthy earth

Yet he loves his creation amidst her fifth

So how much more does his gift of forgiveness, of perfection
Come to me his ultimate creation
