This fall I decided I needed a business coach. Someone to inspire me to do more. To be better. To help me get CLEAR!
Last month she encouraged me to find MY word for the year. This is what Christine Kane says, "A word, contains energy, images and meaning. These are things our hearts and souls get excited about. And this is how transformation begins."
Wow...right?
Last month she encouraged me to find MY word for the year. This is what Christine Kane says, "A word, contains energy, images and meaning. These are things our hearts and souls get excited about. And this is how transformation begins."
Wow...right?
What better way to remember YOUR word then to wear it around your neck.
This substantial sterling silver bar is stamped on one side with any word you choose. The opposite side is hand textured. It hangs from a 16" sterling silver chain that is finished with a beautiful lobster claw clasp.
The word CONFIDENCE is one of the words I came up with. I added carnelian because THAT is the stone of confidence. If you would like to add stones, you may...but it is equally beautiful without!
Wear it with the word facing out...or for only you to know. It's your necklace....it's your choice!
To celebrate the new design...I thought I should give one away!
All you have to do is leave a comment with YOUR word for the year! Yup, it's that easy! We will choose a winner on Friday, January 7 at midnight!

ReplyDeleteA beautiful sentiment, one I can clearly relate to. I could definitely use more confidence in my life.
ReplyDeleteI think my word would be "kindness." There are just too many times in a day where I see people being so selfish and oblivious to others. If I advertised this to the world, even if one person saw it and it made them rethink one act and even if I never knew, I think that would be wonderful.
Thanks for having this giveaway.
Oooo...that is so pretty Lisa! Please enter me in your contest :-)
ReplyDeleteI just posted a link to this contest on my facebook page :-)

ReplyDeleteMy word of the year for 2011 is Passion. I am adding it to my growing collection of words from the last handful of years. I don't believe in setting them aside when the year ends because each year the word grows inside of me and becomes part of my spirit. So my past words were Artist, Wide-Awake, Inspired and now Passion.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be an exciting year don't you? Your necklace is beautiful.

ReplyDelete"Grace" is my word this year.
ReplyDeleteI've actually been thinking about this a lot lately, and my word is actually two very short words: "who says?" My life has been turned upside down and has gone every-which-way in the past year, and I've had to really re-evaluate what I believe about life. Who says I have to live the so-called american dream? Certainly not God. Who says I "deserve" security and a soft place to land? I've never been promised that. And who says I have to let all the junk that's been handed to me keep me down?
ReplyDeleteSo those are my 2 words :)
I facebooked it--

I am not sure my word is even a real word, but it certainly gets tossed around a lot these days. REPURPOSED. There is a lot in my life being repurposed right now.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about it a lot over the past couple of days and the word that keeps coming back around, that seems to be choosing me is: Courage. 2011 is going to need a healthy dose of courage if I am going to accomplish what I want to accomplish this year.

ReplyDeleteMy word of the year is CELEBRATE! I want to be able to celebrate every situation and circumstance that comes into my life this next year. I love, love, love having a word of the year! This is my third year to pick a word. The first and second years I really had to work hard to find a word. This year my word presented itself to me...over and over and over again. Everywhere I turned, there it was! It is a word that surprised me AND it is perfect for this moment in my life! My word for 2011 is Freedom.
ReplyDeleteMy word for the year is Abundance! May we get everything we need in abundance!! Love this, I'm inspired by all the great words
ReplyDeletePut it on FB!!!
ReplyDeleteMine would be purpose, I really feel like some days I just drift through and my purpose is wasted. I want to be more purposeful in sharing my faith, a more purposeful wife, often times both my husband and I will be too busy with work, the children, and life and I want to share great moments and be purposeful in our relationship, I will be a mom with purpose and creating great memories for my beautiful little girls, purposeful in my blog and not just writing selfish posts but rather posts that will fill my readers needs. So I think "Purpose" fits me really well this year, pray that I can accomplish all those things. I get let down really easy though because I set myself up with too high of expectations.

So you're not going to include a counseling session to help the winner determine his/her word of the year?! :) This is my break-out year...but I'm not sure how to wrap that up into one word. Because I wouldn't want to put "coming out" on a necklace, if you know what I mean. Maybe "Advent"

My word for 2011 is Serenity. 2010 was a challenge with health issues, a death in the family, and challenges with the economy. I am dealing with worrying about things that I cannot change or do anything about so this word is perfect.
