- My favorite color is PURPLE. Although I don't wear purple...and I rarely design purple jewelry. Weird!
- Secret pleasure? Peanut butter.
- I hate the phone. I hate talking on the phone. I hate answering the phone. I hate hearing the phone ring. I will literally get sick thinking about having to call someone, even someone I know really, really well. I'm SURE there is some strange phobia out there that I have that can be named. If not...I shall name it Phone-a-phobia. Catchy huh?
- I need to wash my sheets every Saturday. It's a bit of a compulsion...but I LOVE climbing into clean sheets that smell of GAIN!
- I can't stand wearing jewelry in the house. I take off EVERY single piece when I come home!
- I hate feet. They gross me out. Seriously!
- I love listening to Classical music. It soothes my soul.
- I love the way every muscle aches the day after a good workout.
- My mother wanted to name me Amy Jo. Amy Jo? What was she thinking? Thank you to my siblings for choosing a better, although very popular name!
- I played basketball in high school - I was the point guard (at 5'10") and fouled out of 50% of my games. Can you say aggressive?

ReplyDeleteI have phone phobia. Truly. You nailed what I haven't ever said but my husband totally knows.
I wash my sheets every Friday or Saturday too...now, do you hang them on the line to dry? Because, that my dear, is the best night of sleep ever.
oooo....but if we hang them out to dry now....they would freeze! but in the summer....LOVE that!

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've visited your blog (found you from mom blogs), but I could have written this post.
So weird. Seriously.
I am 6'2", and fouled out during about half of my basketball games. My mom was going to name me a ridiculous name too (ended up being Sadie instead.. I've grown to like it). I have phone-a-phobia (I'm sure there is a name for it), and I always press the 'ignore' button when people call because I get so freaked out. People will text me to ask if they can call.. they should know the answer LOL.
Anyway I'm sorry for rambling but it is so strange how similar we are just based on this post! I am also a crafter. :) Beautiful jewelry, and blog.

It seems Phone-a-phobia is rampant. I have it...and I work in a career where sometimes you just have to use the phone. It makes me nervous, and I am ever so grateful for email, texting, etc. If someone says "call me to discuss", I say, "let's meet for coffee instead". And my biggest pet peeve is cell phones, and people who just have random conversations on them in public places. Sorry, Alexander Graham Bell...you could have stayed in bed the day you invented phones for all I care:-)
