Xuron sent me a couple pairs of pliers a year ago to try out. I'm quite picky about my pliers since they are truly an extension of my hand. And...I use them ALL the time.
I fell in love.
These pliers and cutters are my absolute favorite tool to use when I am doing intricate wire work. They are comfortable in my hand. They are well made. They are just fantastic!
When I hired someone to come work with me, I didn't know the biggest battle would be over MY pliers! I have probably 20 some odd pairs in the studio! But no, these are the ones she wants to use! And she steals them from me....sneaky thing! But quite frankly, she does her best work with them in hand!
When Xuron offered to send me more tools, so that she too could have her own set...how could I refuse? Needless to say, she jumped for joy when I handed her the kit! And I mean it, she really jumped up and down!
My favorite? The Tweezer Nose Pliers. It is perfect for intricate wire twisting and tucking in loose ends.
The Micro Shear Flush Cutter is my 2nd favorite Xuron tool. It cuts clean, and nice and close to the design. Again, never far from my bench...unless someone "borrows" it!
Here you can see my old, well worn pair of pliers getting to know his new bench buddy. He is full of wisdom and knowledge, hopefully he won't be embarrassed of his faded color and dirt smudges!
Anyway, I highly, highly recommend these tools. Whether you make jewelry as a hobby, or it's your full time job you will not be disappointed!
(yes, I received tools from Xuron but the opinions are completely my own. NOBODY can make me fall in love with a tool! NOBODY!)
Very cool! Thanks for posting. :) Nothing like a good tool. :D
