The aspiring chef in our house is "the boy". He is always mixing something up in the kitchen. Usually, homemade ice cream. Delish!
But today...he and his sweet girlfriend decided to make something even more evil. Peanut Butter Oreo Brownies. Hello? You heard me right. Peanut Butter AND Oreos AND Brownies all in the same title. It's a sugar high not to be missed!
I shared the photo on Instagram - wait, do you follow me there? You should! - anyway....I shared a photo of the delicioso treat and immediately was asked for the recipe. Well duh! Who wouldn't want it.
And since it's a holiday weekend. And since you probably have some event to attend. And since who really needs an excuse to make these anyway. Here you go!
Peanut Butter & Oreo Stuffed BrowniesYield: Makes 12 servings
Ingredients 1 box brownie mix, 8×8 inch size
24 Oreo Cookies
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
InstructionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 12 muffin cup baker with paper liners.
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions.
For each cupcake cup spread 1 teaspoon of peanut butter over 2 Oreo cookies and stack them on top of each other. Place oreo stacks into the cupcake lined muffin cups. Spoon 2 tablespoons of brownie batter over each stacked oreos and let it run down the sides of the cookies.
If you have left over brownie batter, bake separately in a separate baker or muffin tin.
Bake cookies and brownies for 18 to 20 minutes, until brownies are cooked through. Let cool completely then serve.
Please, come back here and tell me what you think! If you have a fav recipe to share, I'd love to know. The boy....I mean....I....might want to try something new!
