Thanksgiving. Black Friday. Sales and Specials.

Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful laid back day spent with the people I love the most. We laughed, we ate, we ran (well some of us did), we watched Muppet's, we played Trivial Pursuit, we laughed some more. It was just about perfect.

And although I'm prone to the "half empty" syndrome, today I choose to see my glass as overflowing. Anything I could want and desire is truly above and beyond what life has already gifted to me. And for that I am so very thankful.

This year I am also thankful for all of you. For those of you who stick around to read my blog and to be a continuous support of my art. To be able to work in my home studio, and choose to be the "stay at home mom" is more than I could ever hoped or imagined. I.am.grateful.

Scouring over black Friday ads, searching for the best deal, or getting up early in the morning are not my cup of tea. As a matter of fact, the paper lies on my coffee table mindless strewn aside and I haven't even taken a glance at what "deals" there are to grab. Personally, I am a supporter of local shopping, or artisans using their talents and abilities to share their gift with the world. And guess what....I am one of them.

I know I can't beat the "big box stores" for outlandish slashed prices. I certainly can't run an ad campaign like Kay Jewelers. But what I can do is offer you a piece of handcrafted art. Designed and fabricated in MY studio. Created with passion. Made with love.

I love what I do. And every time I sell a piece to you I celebrate. Every time. It never gets old. My heart sings to know, someone out there believes in me and loves my work. {{swoon}}

To inspire you a bit to peruse my designs, I am gifting FREE shipping all weekend. I will bear that cost for you. I am also offering my Gift Certificates at 25% off their value from now until 6pm on Friday the 25th. I will send a PDF file and a unique code to whomever you choose. What an amazing gift for the "hard to buy for". This way they get to choose, and you become the hero. I promise to make you look good! However, they may not be redeemed until after January 1, 2012.

Again, from my heart to yours...thank you.

xoxo,
lisa
