Favorite Thing - Fashion Style Boards by Polyvore

Looking for fashion and style inspiration? Do you get that "deer in the headlights" stare when you peer into your closet in the morning? Do you wish you had a personal stylist to tell you what to wear and lay your outfits out like "Garanimals"?

Then you are absolutely in the right spot today.

Polyvore.

I love it. It inspires me.

What is Polyvore?

Polyvore is the web's largest fashion community site, where users are empowered to discover their style and set trends around the world. With over 15 million monthly unique visitors, Polyvore's global community has created over 44 million sets that are shared across the web. 

Basically, Polyvore is a place you can make style boards. Sort of "inspiration boards". If you don't want to "make" them, you can follow other people and have your ideas sparked by them.

If you have spent ANY time at all on Pinterest you have seen said boards. Some are off the charts wild, and some are perfectly suited to me. Some are designs for your home, others the perfect outfit for when you go clubbing. (I only say that, because I find it funny....me? Clubbing? In those clothes?)

Anyway.....

I made this simple style board this morning in about 5 minutes. Nothing flashy. Just an outfit you might typically find me wearing to the grocery store, or a ball game.

Think of it as a springboard for yourself. You might see something want to try, or something similar to an item hanging in your closet and now you are inspired to try a new top, or accessory....

Now granted...some people have WAY too much time on their hands and they make these elaborate boards with quotes and pieces of art and model shots. Don't get me wrong, they are super fun to look at...but dang...it's like a graphic design project!!

Once you start creating boards or finding ones you love the ability to share through social media is extensive. If you can think of a social media option...they have a button for it. True story.

At the very least it's a new distraction from Pinterest. You're welcome.
