Remember that summer by the lake? Remember your dorm room? Remember the Christmas when everyone got together the last time? Remember our first apartment?
To me scents are a simple luxury. Not only do they provide immense olfactory pleasure. They bring me back to certain times and events. Why is that? Why do they stir up so many emotions and memories?
Whatever the reason, I am a sucker for candles. But I am also incredibly picky about my fragrances. They need to scent a room, not overpower it. And they have to incite a positive "feel good" memory!
My favorite candles are Woodwick Candles. Not only do they make my entire house seem absorbed in the beauty of autumn (yes fall and Christmas scents are my favs) but the natural wooden wick crackles while it burns! And I like to choose the large jars, they seem to burn forever, like 180 hours forever!
Which "flavor" would you choose? Peoples different opinions and favorites always intrigue me!
