Fashion Tip Tuesday - Holiday Party Nail Polish

Christmas. Inevitably you are going to be invited to some soiree. Some event. Some party.

Possibly they will require a fancy party dress (more on that another time), but more often than not, you just need a little bit of "festive".

There are a few things you can do to create a bit of a party look without too much effort. One very simple way is on your nails!

Now before you tell me you don't do your nails...stop! I'm the number one example of a girl with ugly hands, remember what I do for a living? And if I can paint my nails and have them look pretty, so can you. So there!

I used my daughter Isabel as a hand model, to show off three very easy looks that put the party on your hands!

First up I painted her nails these amazing shades of purple (OPI Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs) and teal blue (Nina Ultra Pro Unteal You). The two different colors was for the sake of example...stick with me people!

Truly, just one of these colors is enough for a pretty festive look. But let's take it up a notch, shall we?

Then I grabbed the glitter polish. ** mini tip ** Apply once the nails are completely dry. Add as much, or as little, as you like! On the blue hand I used OPI Glow Up Already. On the purple hand I used Sparkleicious! I just love OPI polish names. I wonder if they are hiring in their "naming department"? Anyway....

I think the combo is amazing. Super festive. Super easy. And now she's ready to party. Too bad she is only 13. And no sweetie, this is not permission.

And just to prove that I did, in fact, paint my nails too...and that they look AWESOME! Here you go. Evidence.

Did you notice that amazing garnet ring set in gold? It's one of my "ready to ship" items, heading into my shop today! Merry Christmas. You're welcome!

Next week I'll share a couple more easy tips to help you get your festive on. I do love the holidays!

What's your "go-to" holiday wardrobe tip? Inquiring minds WANT to know!
