Christmas in July

I don't really know who ever came up with this idea. I do know it's been around since 1933. What am I talking about?
Christmas in July.

Either someone was craving Eggnog, or they decided to finally take down their decorations. Whatever, a "holiday season" was begun.

And where the whole SALE part comes in? Again. No clue.
What I do know is that I decided to jump on the band wagon...errrr....the sled.

With all the transition and moving and topsy turvy-ness that I live in I thought 'why not embrace it MORE?' Why not add to the madness?

So there you go. A sale is born.
And not just any sale. This is the biggest sale we have EVER had.
30% off every item. That's big.

The details are in the Weekly Gem newletter today, and I'll send out a reminder again this weekend!

Not on the Gem list? Geesh, why not? All the cool kids are! Just pop on over via the link below, and we will get you started. I promise. No spam. Spam. Why IS it called Spam anyway?

  1. Oh sweet, I didn't realize you had a mailing list! :)

Also, I got curious and looked up how electronic spam got its name. Apparently the term comes from a Monty Python sketch about the original Spam, that is, the canned meat product. Who knew? Not me! You can read about it on Wikipedia if you're interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(electronic)#Etymology
