a Happy Birthday Giveaway for you!

Today is my birthday. Funny how they come around every year. Normally I am all about birthdays and celebrating and confetti and a whole lot of hoopla...but not this year. And I'm not entirely sure why.

Could it be that whole aging thing? Possibly. I HAVE changed quite a bit! Don't judge!

But instead of getting all melancholy and pensive...I've decided that celebrating is probably JUST the thing I need! Here is where you come in. Are you game?

This week I am giving away FOUR $100 gift certificates to my store. I don't talk about my jewelry designs on the blog too much...but I'm pretty sure you can find something you like! Click ---> here to visit my store!

To make it SUPER easy I've created a rafflecopter widget below. I can set diamonds and play with fire...but I am not very techy...so this is a very big deal for me! Again, don't judge!

Details. Your mandatory entry is to go to my online store and find your favorite thing...today! Then come back here and leave the link! Then of course there are other ways to enter to make your chances even better - some are easy, some are basic, some are just plain stupid. But hey...that's the way I roll! Come back every day this week and tell me your favorite item THAT day...and increase your chances of winning. Not too tough...right?

Thanks for celebrating with me. Thanks for always giving me a reason to smile. Thanks for  being my friends. I am grateful for each of you!

  2. Happy birthday to you! At our house, our favorite tradition is breakfast in bed for the birthday boy/girl (even parents!)... Order is placed the day before. You never know - sometimes it's pizza, sometimes it's eggs, sometimes it's just cake! Woo hoo! wscherer@gmail.com

  3. Happy Birthday!! A few years ago I purchased your "boyfriend necklace" - the leather with silver bar. I wasn't sure how it'd hold up especially since my guy is a "wear it or else I lose it" type.. but it has done great. We have a LDR and currently going through immigration, but I haven't seen him since November. It's nice that he has that reminder daily. I recently bought another one for my 13yr old son. He knows that his future step-dad has a special necklace. I (and my oldest daughters) also have special necklaces. My son struggles with Aspergers and an anxiety disorder.. AND is starting at a new school. The necklace has "fwd" on it (as a token to our family motto of Forward Progress) and I know he's proud of it. Our family tradition for birthdays is letting the birthday person pick the meal. One year the oldest boy decided we were having a finger food feast for his bday -- popcorn shrimp, little eggrolls, the whole bit. I gotta admit, I prefer when its the girls and they choose sushi. :D bridget@williamsburghomebirth.com

  9. Our favorite birthday tradition - for the boys they get to have 4 or 5 friends stay over-night and eat pizza and cake and play video games. For me - I like to take the day and just relax and not cook or clean all day :D

  10. Happy Birthday!!!

I am one of seven kids and on birthdays we try to get as many of the gang rounded up as we can and go to a "favorite" restaurant for dinner. That's one thing I miss terribly now that I live in FL far away from 5 of my siblings. However, my son and I are carrying it on in our own little way.

  15. Lisa, HAPPY, GLORIOUS Birthday to you!!! You are supposed to be the recipient of gifts not the giver, BUT...since you insist, I would have to say my fave pieces are actually any of those mother bracelets and/or necklaces - except in my case it would have each of my grandchildren's names engraved. I better go back and find the link to at least one of them that I LOVE, but honestly, I saw several.

Love and Hugs, beautiful woman of God.

  19. Happy birthday! It's my birthday month too...so let's celebrate all month! One of my favorite birthday traditions is something I do for my boys that I started several years ago. On their birthday I get up early with them and take them out to breakfast wherever they choose before school, alone time with me. Don't know if it's special to them, but it is to me!

  22. Happy birthday, Lisa! I made a birthday banner that hangs in the entryway of our house. I put it up the night before, so when the birthday person wakes up and goes downstairs, it's the first thing they see. It's just fancy letters printed out on cardstock and "laminated" (covered with clear contact paper). I hang the letters by mini-clothespins on a string. It says "happy birthday 'name'". I keep the banner up for a full week, so it's a week of celebrating the birthday person!

It's a relatively new tradition, but my boys love it. Enough that when I celebrated my birthday in Colombia last month, they were sad that I didn't bring the banner with me.

  31. I came back to share my favorite birthday tradition! :) Mine is from my childhood. When I was a kid, I had teeth problems so the rule was I had to avoid all sugary sweets. For my birthday, instead of a normal cake I had a homemade ice cream cake, just ice cream pushed into a cake pan really, but it was fun to make together. My mom rationalized that ice cream has more calcium than cake so it was a better option...not sure if that would hold up with the dentist, but it worked for us. ;) It made me feel special!

  54. I am also a September birthday. I look forward every year to seeing what cake my kids pick out for me- they go to Meijer bakery (the best if you aren't getting homemade), and pick out the cake that has the most frosting and flowers. One year I got Tinkerbell, the next was Nemo. My son likes frosting as much as I do, and on my birthday, I get the most roses!
I am loving your earrings right now, because I just chopped off my hair and dyed it blonde for the first time in forever, and I think short hair needs long earrings!
