The BEST gift for the busy person - one of my favorite things

Wife. Mom. Entrepreneur. Incredibly different titles. Equally challenging. At times…some more than others.

I struggle with balance.
I struggle with a strong desire to be a stay at home mom, and the call to do what I do as an artist.
It's not easy to be all things to all people.
Often I fail.

For years I home schooled my kids and my studio was in my home. It allowed me to juggle mom-wife-business owner. Since we moved last fall, my kids ALL went to school for the first time and my temporary studio is miles from home. Ugh. Struggle.

I'll also let you in on a little secret. I LOVE to cook. LOVE. And I'm pretty good at it too!
I also love family dinners around the table. It's not always easily to coordinate six people, but we make a huge effort and I treasure that time.

But driving home from work, and THEN having to plan a meal. Not easy.
I've tried different meal plans or cooking for the month plans. Sure they worked. But we never liked the food. Kinda boring.

I was offered the chance to try eMeals in September. And let me tell you. I'm hooked. eMeals lets you download a list of recipes for the week from your chosen category (gluten-free, pale, slow cooker, low carb, even Paleo!). Not only do you get the recipes…it gives you a complete shopping list.

And bonus bonus? The recipes are amazing. Not boring. Fun. Tasty. And in 5 weeks, we have only had one thing they did not like. Ok, it had spinach in it. I like spinach. Popeye likes spinach. Apparently my family does not. My bad.

For me? I love that I don't have to think. I love that I have a list for the grocery store. I love that I can come home and KNOW dinner will be on the table without me losing my mind.

They have different meal plans for different diets and different size families. You can purchase a plan for 3 months, 6 months or even a year. They even have lunch plans for packing! I think I'm going to add that to my plan next. School lunch is getting old for my brood.

eMeals is having a HUGE discount sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Personally I think this would be an incredible gift for the busy parent. Trust me. I'd be over the moon thrilled if you gave this to me! They are seriously offering 30% off a plan using the code CYBER through December 2nd. Click here to sign up.  You also get a bonus FREE holiday recipe plan!

This soup was amazing. Easy. And everyone loved it. Perfect for a cold winters day.
You win. They win. Everyone wins. Anyone else hungry now? Seriously…I'm starving!

Let me know if you have any questions…or what you think!

Bon Appetit!
