Aging skin and a little firming serum

I don't obsess about my skin. But I do take care of my skin.

I don't worry about wrinkles. But I do what I can to prevent them.

I don't spend a lot of skin care. But I'm willing to try just about anything.

I wrote about one of my favorite eye products in October Pomegranate Firming & Refreshing Eye Roll-on. I continue to love and use that product every day. But I have to share my other go-to product from the pomegranate line at The Body Shop…the serum. I even like the word serum. It sounds so fancy!

The Pomegranate Firming Serum is a must for me before I moisturize. For one, I love the way it feels. For two, I love what it's supposed to do. It is supposed to reduce signs of aging…it's supposed to be hydrating…and it's supposed to make skin firmer and brighter and reduce appearance of wrinkles.

What I DO know. It feels amazing. My skin is very dry and very sensitive. This adds a layer of moisture unlike any cream I've ever used. When paired with a moisturizer it's incredible. I don't really have wrinkles, so either this is a miracle serum, or I'm genetically blessed (so far). As for the firmer part, yes. My skin, does in fact, feel firmer and tighter - but not a dry tight. Does that even make sense?

I love it so much that I even pack it when I travel. Even for an overnight. That's a big deal for me. I may even consider myself slightly obsessed. There, i said it. I have a problem.

It comes from The Body Shop. There is an entire line of the Pomegranate products…I use them all. But my favorites are definitely the Eye Roll-on and this magic serum. I checked the website today and they have a special buy 1 get on 50% off. I recommend signing up for their emails to stay on top of their offers…they have really good deals…and I NEVER bought this at full price. It's $36 for the pump…it lasts several months….and I use it everyday…usually twice! Just a tiny drop goes a really long way.

So whether you are 20 or 70…this serum is great addition to your beauty routine. We all could use a bit of moisture after a long winter. Agreed?
