Today is my one and only sisters birthday!
I was born on the first day of her senior year of high school!
Yup, true story...now close your mouth, it's gaping!
Needless to say, I didn't really KNOW her. She left for college when I was a baby! We became friends later in life. She was always more than a sister. She has been a mentor and a friend.
She is beautiful. Inside and out.
She is a wonderful wife. Mother...and now grandmother!
She is gifted in the kitchen.
She has an incredible way with words...written and spoken.
She is a teacher of many, but a student of One.
She is a servant with a heart of gold.
I love my sister.
So what is love?
Love is an unconditional love our sisters.
Whether biological or not.
Sisters, women in our life, speak to our souls in a way none other can. We easily share laughter and tears and often both within a minutes span! No one understands us the way our "sisters" do.
