Ask Lisa - one piece of jewelry

I DO get asked this question in many forms, several times a week, but Sarah sounded so pleading I chose her question for today's post!

No worries Sarah! Don't be scared! Jewelry is our friend!

I know that wearing jewelry comes natural to me, it truly is an extension of who I am. But that is not the case for everyone. People are afraid to venture away from the standard wedding ring, or favorite necklace. It's ok. I'm here to help you.

Now come on, take my hand, don't be scared...do I look scary to you? Ok, don't answer that. (just so you know I am resisting every temptation to turn on my webcam and take a frightful picture of myself...but I digress!!)

Anyway....

Scenario, you are leaving the house, maybe just to run to the grocery store, and maybe you are not dressed in your highest fashion. No worries. Here is a trick I learned a long time ago. I like to call them "car pool" earrings.

Earrings just make everything better. They highlight your face. They accentuate your outfit. They are playful and elegant all at the same time. So whether you are only going to be seen through a car window, or you are heading out for an evening and you don't know what to choose...earrings win....hands down.

And don't be scared with your earring designs. Wear what you love, and you won't go wrong. I don't believe there is a certain earring for a certain face. I think when you love your earrings you will rock it no matter what.

My favorite pair of earrings? I thought you would never ask! I choose these almost everyday.
