Valentines Day Fashion

Red obsessed? Or do you fear the color?

It's Valentines Day, and there couldn't be a more perfect day to address your fear and embrace all things red! I find the boldness of the color to be an exciting addition to any wardrobe...even if it's just your nails.

Let's start there. Treat yourself to a manicure today. Inexpensive and luxurious all at the same time, what a great way to love on yourself!. How about OPI 'Animal-istic'? It is a more rich red that goes from fingers to toes!

I dare you to head out on the town in this trench. RAWR! Awesome twist on the classic. LOVE the side zip, it's a bit flirty and unexpected. And the hood is fantastic! by Vince Camuto.
Skinny jeans are still the trend, like it or not. And what's really in? Color! Aeropostale has these for a steal at $24.75. Pair them with a long tunic or sweater and you will exude romance today!

At the very least, you have to add some red heels to your wardrobe. Always fantastic and a tad bit naughty! I found these at Target. They are a classic style, not too high and utterly awesome!

No heels for you? No problem! Target has adorable ballet flats too!

Ok, fine, you don't "do" skinny jeans or red high heels. Can I convince you to add some color in your life with a hand bag? I found this one at Macy's online site....cute and functional...you can't go wrong!

Now, we have been all about the fashion options of the day, but let's not forget the one thing that speaks to my heart....chocolate! Valentines Day is always about chocolate...isn't it? This recipe on "How Sweet It Is" for 5 minute chocolate fudge s'mores mug cake looks just about perfect! I think my girls and I will have to take a school break and head for the kitchen!

So what will you embrace today? A little bit of red will go a long way. Enjoy it. Have fun with it....and....

Happy Valentines Day!

xoxo
