Aging. It's a fact of life...right?
We can accept it.
But we can still fight like crazy to slow it down!!
Two things that bother me the most in this aging cycle.
My hands. The poor overworked things.
And my eyes.
I do realize I AM pretty much exhausted all the time. I just don't want my eyes to look like it!
I've tried several products, but nothing seemed "right". I'm sure there is some amazing, super expensive, make-your-eyes-look-like-you-are-in-your-teens-product...however, I don't want to spend a fortune either.
And then I found this.
I really do love it.
You just lightly stroke it under your eye morning and evening. It is supposed to make for "brighter smoother-looking and firmer-feeling" skin. I like how refreshed and hydrated it makes my eyes feel. And if it does the other things...then BONUS!
(this photo totally makes me laugh. I'm mad about making my eyes look better. I guess we call those "angry eyes"!)
In my opinion, my eyes do FEEL better. I do believe they LOOK better. Just not as tired and puffy. And if I choose to believe there are less wrinkles and my skin is firmer. Then it is so! (I took this close up with my PHONE! How cool is that? Not the eye silly, the detail!)
I'm sold out to the skin care program I use on a daily basis. But this line by the Body Shop is a nice substitute for every few days. I think it's good to add variety and trick your skin a little bit. It all smells great and goes on light...never heavy. And the cost is right!
If you are looking for something to give you a little help in the morning...and really, who isn't. You might want to give it a try...that's all I'm trying to say! And if you sign up for their emails they have specials ALL the time.

DeleteSo I was jetting through an airport in north Carolina. Finally on my way home after months of working on the road and living out of a suite case. You want to talk tired eye's? At 45 I look pretty good but my hands and my eye's as you mentioned as well really show these days. I saw a Body shop store in the airport and remembered your blog on this stuff. So I popped in and bought one! As soon as I had a chance I whipped it out and tried it. I loved the cooling effect it had right away. Now I was not expecting much but I have to say after 4 solid days of using it....I swear my wrinkles are a lot less wrinkly! And I look more awake! I am telling all my friends about this product now! Now granted my wrinkles are not bad more fine lines and my eye's can appear puffy. This stuff has really worked! I just wanted to thank you!
