New Orleans French Quarter through my lens

The dirty south. New Orleans. NOLA. 

All of this something I have not experienced before. 

The ornate details. The antiquity. The stories that must live here. Fascinating.

I had the privilege of traveling to New Orleans for a conference. Type A Parent. It was a bootcamp, one day conference that focused on the visual aspects of your blog or website. I even got to speak.

Typically at conferences I rarely even breathe the outside air, let alone have time to really take in the sites. But not this time. This time I had an entire day. It was an amazing day spent with my friend Melanie. It was a day I will treasure as a "favorite" for many years to come. We laughed and shopped and just enjoyed each other. Perfection.

Of course I made her stop often as I captured a memory here and there. SO many details. So much I wanted to remember. So many things inspired me...jewelry wise!
